This past Sunday we had the opportunity to go to Acapulco for about 36 hours. We left on Sunday morning and arrived in Acapulco about 11 am. We got a few things at Walmart, enjoyed some lunch at McDonalds and headed to our hotel.
McDonalds never tasted so good! The kids got to play on the playground there for a bit and we all enjoyed some “great” McDonald’s fries and burgers, and topped it off with some ice cream! 
The hotel was beautiful. It sat in a bay area, so the beach was much calmer and great for the kids to play in. We played on the beach, swam in the pools, ate a great dinner, and played a game together. Then we all crashed!
Brady’s favorite line…”Get ready to live!” He learned this from his dad and would say it every time he ran into the waves!!
Monday morning we got up and enjoyed breakfast together and then spent the day at the beach and in the pools. It was so restful—just having a break from speaking Spanish and just being able to be together was so nice.

And to finish off a great trip…STARBUCKS!!! Can’t beat that! Venti Iced White Mocha with Caramel Drizzle---that’s what I’m talking about!!!
